Be-Zing and The DofE shared Ethos and Values

Woman on Duke of Edinborough

We at Be-Zing share a goal with the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme in building lifelong belief in the many young people we work with. Furthermore, both encourage our young people to take on their own challenges, follow their passions and ultimately discover their unique talents.

Through the DofE program, young people develop into confident and powerful individuals who understand the importance of personal growth. Progression is key for the young people on DofE, and so is it for our Zingers- the energetic young people we all know and love, and a future, with bottomless potential. At Be-Zing we respect the DofE ethos and have adopted it as our own ever since becoming an approved skill provider.

Now we work alongside DofE, providing the youth with fun and challenging skills courses both online and at home, which help to shape their future and turn them into powerful, mindful individuals that are capable of achieving their dreams in life! Be-Zing courses are built by industry professionals with 20+ years of experience in their fields. Something that’s really important to us is that the courses are accessible to all people from all walks of life, so we do all we can to make them available, personal and adaptable.

As young people progress through DofE they’ll face challenges, some daunting, but our carefully structured curriculum aids in learning to balance the mind, body, and soul, and charge through whatever obstacles are in the way of achieving one’s goals. This is at the heart of the Duke of Edinburgh and Be-Zing ethos.

Aside from the obvious benefits of learning new practical skills, the DofE courses we offer can often have a long-lasting impact on young people’s mental health and well-being, and sense of belief.
